Enjoy!!!!
Wild-caught dopamine- The Most Hilarious Entries So Far in the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards
Silly little game time- NYT finally added a new game, Strands, to their arsenal. It’s equal parts frustrating and satisfying, so good luck.
Rats flood the polls nationwide- This hasn’t happened yet, but it will on November 5th because we all registered to vote!!!
It’s getting hot in here- In an attempt to not JUST wear running shorts and tank tops constantly, I have transitioned to tennis skirts (it’s different enough, ok!!) A couple of my faves:
Arguably the lightest weight skirt on the market- Alo Match Point (i wear it with this tank)
Slimmer fit but a bit thicker material- Vuori Halo Retro Skirt (matches this tank)
🏃♀️ also my fight or flight response
Florence + the machine when the dog days were over

If this is AI or fake or something- don’t tell me. It’s real to me.
Woman of the Week- Nathan’s Famous Hotdogs held their 52nd annual 4th of July Hot Dog eating competition, and 135 lb Miki Sudo set a new women’s record by eating FIFTY ONE hot dogs in ten minutes (a new world record). Unless you eat a hot dog every week, she ate more in ten minutes than you do in a year. Nothing makes my patriotism come out like a timed food competition or the Olympics!
Peanut Butter Chocolate No Bake Cookies- as much as I deeply love baking, I refuse to turn my oven on when it’s 100 degrees out. This recipe is easily halved too- so if you’re like me and smash cookies by the dozen, maybe do that.
Methods over recipes- I’ve been watching a lot of Ethan Chlebowski’s YouTube videos on cooking methodologies. Basically, he teaches food science and how to mix and match things to create new dishes. I love his video on a version of meal prepping that allows you to do partial prep on Sunday (or whenever) and switch it up throughout the week.
Signing off with my 7th no bake cookie of the day,
Kate
P.S. If you enjoyed this, send it to your favorite coworker. If you didn’t, send it to your 6th grade soccer coach that benched you all season.
