Unrelated, but I can no longer keep baked cheetos or oreos in my house.

• something to watch- You’ll never catch me listening to or watching any media related to murders- but I’m an absolute SUCKER for a cult documentary. I just finished Dancing for the Devil and OOF it’s heavy and fascinating. It’s a little less like the traditional/violent cults than i’m familiar with (Jonestown, Scientology, etc) but still wild.

• something to wear- my perfect summer jeans- I simply cannot and will not wear jean shorts all summer. It’s 100 degrees out and they absolutely refuse to not ride up??? I only have the will to pull them out of my butt about 3 times each summer so I need to ration my wears.

• something for summer- I think we can all agree that chapstick with SPF in it generally tastes disgusting. For the last month i’ve used Sun Bum’s and it tastes like nothing. It’s amazing.

• Everything that went wrong with Bumble’s rebrand (Morning Brew)- ICYMI, dating app Bumble tried to rebrand in April with an ad campaign aimed to appeal to female users with the slogan “You know full well a vow of celibacy is not the answer”. I literally don’t know how that got approved by their marketing department but it went over about as well as you would think (not well at all).

• Gen Z women are looking for a ‘sexy rat boyfriend’ in latest dating craze: ‘Hot rodent summer’ (NY Post)- If you look at the current “hollywood heartthrobs,” Gen Z has decided they all look like…. rodents? While that’s a very odd observation I cannot deny the accuracy. It’s finally our time to shine- welcome to Rat Girl Summer!!!! 🐀

• Late July Mexican Street Corn Chips

• Panang Curry- super easy recipe, but i would only do 1-1.5 cans of coconut milk next time instead of 2 and sub the rest with water (it was a little too rich IMO).
