Hey Rats!!

Have a killer week :)

• Protein maxxing 😤 - came across this spiced veggie and turkey meatball sheet pan with yogurt sauce and have made it twice in 2 weeks!! 1 dirty bowl, 1 sheet pan, and lots of protein. Sign me up for the gains!! 💪🏻

• 💅 - I like a pretty natural/lighter makeup look most days, and the Hourglass Veil skin tint is my favorite i’ve ever tried- it’s sheer, but you can build it up where you need it, doesn’t make my skin super greasy, and plays well with other products (blush, bronzer, etc).

  • If you prefer SPF in your skin tint, I also love the Tower 28 one, but it’s a lot dewier and has medium coverage.

• Jam of the week- The Lonely Island Medley from SNL’s 50th Anniversary Celebration last weekend (it’s STAR STUDDED!!!! and honestly a great performance 10/10 recommend watching)

• 👩🏻‍🔬 The Ordinary is releasing white papers (research papers) to help combat misinformation in the skincare industry. Remember that a lot of marketing claims are not regulated, so basically The Ordinary has gotten sick of trying to stop the spread of bs to the point where they dropped their paywalls to give free access to ~facts~.

  • I highly recommend reading this one- “The aluminum in your deodorant is not a health risk”

    • While we are here, I would like to apologize to anybody that interacted with me over the 2 years I spent convincing myself that natural deodorant was for me (🤢). If you’re a long-time reader, I think i’ve said this before, but i'm going to keep apologizing for the rest of my life.

• 🌭 MUSTAAAAAAAARD- Heinz is releasing a mustard collaboration this summer with DJ Mustard (if you don’t get this reference or why Kendrick Lamar’s superbowl halftime show was relevant, here is a summary). Can’t remember the last time i was this excited about a condiment.

• 📖 Why Marriott Bonvoy released 25 Jason Kelce doppelgängers into the French Quarter

• 🍔 Procrastinator roll call!!!! If you, like me, dread extra trips to the DMV, then you should know time is running out!! Starting May 7, 2025, you'll need a real ID (or a passport) to fly domestically. I won’t be getting one until I absolutely have to because i’m not a masochist, but if you’re interested, here is a state-by-state guide.

• Reformation launched a new “official boyfriend” campaign starring Pete Davidson. I love Pete Davidson (i'm a stand-up comedy gal) but this campaign is such a weird pairing. I get that Reformation is trying to do the cool girl thing, but i'm not sure how they thought Petey peddling official boyfriend sweatshirts would do it for them.
