• When Hell freezes over- A phrase I’m retiring from my arsenal because I think it could actually happen with this winter storm coming in across the U.S. So this made me think of a few tips for how to prep (especially if you live in the south and 3 snowflakes will shut the city down):

  • Do a mini-stock up on shelf-stable foods

  • A couple gallons of water (when pipes burst and the water gets contaminated, you’ll want it)

  • A SLED- I always end up using bins/cardboard, and every time it’s SO lackluster

  • A quick read to help you decide if you should care about this month’s ridiculously cold forecast

• Be my Valentine- You won’t ever see me in a Home Goods buying seasonal decor (it’s far too overwhelming for me), but I do buy what should be considered necessary — a single Target Birb for each holiday (see image above). For example, Valentine’s Day ones just came out and they’re so cute!!!!

• Jam of the week- A devotional to American infrastructure this week: Ice Ice Baby

• 🍺 The Surgeon General said he wants a “this can give you cancer” warning label on alcohol last week. We obviously know alcohol isn’t good for you, per se, but neither is cake. How bad is it actually?

• ⏰ Is TikTok actually getting banned? I have the self control of a 19 year old boy at an open bar when it comes to TikTok, so for me, a ban would not be a bad thing.

• 🔥 Nikki Glaser was the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo and crushed her opening roast

• ☕️ To do: Try Dunkin’s new Brown Sugar ~Shakin’ Espresso~

• Brambleberry Crisp from Jeni’s Ice Cream (don’t ask me what a brambleberry is)
