Rat's Nest Week 27 ✨

this week we're bundled up in sweaters reminiscing on Lindsey Lohan's pop days

Welcome to Rat’s Nest - a weekly newsletter with product recs, recipes, funnies and more to peruse on your midday break

Enjoy!!!!

  • Something you never needed to know- Ever wonder what the weather was like the day you were born? Find out here.

  • Jam of the week- Rumors by Lindsey Lohan. It’s an absolute crime we never got more club hits from her.

  • Sweatah Weatha- It’s officially fall which means sweatah weatha is right around the corner! Below are my top picks- almost all of them are 100% cotton because I find wool itchy and too warm most of the time (I live in Tennessee so it only gets so cold), and if at all possible I would like my sweaters to not be made out of polyester/acrylic (ergo not breathable).

1) black contrast stitch 2) green cardigan 3) cream pull over 4) oversized crewneck (I have this one, its great) 5) sapphire bell sleeve 6) pocket cardigan that reminds me of this MUCH more expensive Axel Arigato cardigan (one is cotton, one is wool so not a “dupe” though) 7) boyfriend crewneck

pro of this is that i’m dangerous on a trivia team when a question involving niche knowledge comes up

how bad do you want to know the lore

  • Caitlin Clark was named WBNA’s Rookie of the Year (shocker)

  • Michigan held a contest for the art that would be featured on their “I voted” stickers for the election and the elementary/middle school winners are nothing short of amazing (read: hilarious). How do I get the wolf one?

  • The Devil Wears Prada 2 is rumored to start filming next month- with the original cast!!!! The only way I ever want a sequel.

  • Limited Too (yes, the parent brand to Justice that we all begged our moms to buy us in middle school) is releasing an adult line of clothing this Spring after the internet was apparently very sad it’s relaunch did not include adult sizes. I’m all for nostalgia, but you will not catch me dead in a Limited Too bomber jacket.

It would be SO RUDE if I brought up soup without sharing a couple favorites:

Signing off with love from Argentina,

Kate

P.S. If you enjoyed this, send it to your childhood best friend. If you didn’t, send it to the Delta CEO for ruining their airline status program.
